Everyone has heard of Netflix at this point. It's one of the most visited website. I dont understand this. Netflix costs 7.99
US dollars a month for the minimum package. That isn't too bad but its 95.88
dollars a year. I could get Sky movies with catch up and on demand for a bit extra and I would have access to a million times more content than on Netflix. I have watched about 7 series on Netflix and they are all really good. The Netflix originals are great but it lacks in movies by a light year. It depresses
Let me be clear I have Netflix and I love it but they need to UP their game. I have watched their "Originals", Daredevil, Luke Cage, House of Cards and more. I finished them. Last week I was craving some Daredevil but I had finished the two seasons. So like any normal human being I went online to see when season three was coming out and all I saw was 2018, 2018, 2018, 2018. That is two years away. I have to wait two years for Daredevil season three. Point against Netflix for being brain dead. If I wanted to watch The Walking Dead I could get it on Fox for very little "moonies". (I'm not having a stroke, that's just how I say "money" some times :/ ) AMC bring out a new quality season of The Walking Dead every year WITH more episode than Netflix puts in it's series.
Okay, I know that's not really fair because AMC bring out fewer series than Netflix. Netflix brings out a few different series a year. So we wont bash their skull for that. I'm not going to cry over their sluggishness, they are probably trying to perfect what they have on paper.
Let's talk about the killer punch that really put's a pipe up my ass, Netflix's complete lack of movies. I know everyone loves to watch a good series, but every now and then people want to watch a good movie. I love movies because you can get a good story in less than two hours, usually in one sitting. I was looking for a good action or sci-fi movie last night but couldn't find a lot that interested me. The two action movies that I genuinely enjoyed on Netflix were Sicario and The siege of Jadotville. I struggled to find a good movie yesterday and I dont think it's a personal preference thing because I kept seeing shit like this:
What I'm trying to say without crushing everyone's soul is that I really think Netflix needs to up their movie game. They have few decent movies that are worth my time to watch. I would like some movies that have come out in the last year or two. I'd like to know what you think let me know in the comments below, remember you dont need an account to comment.
